We are super delighted that the traditional IFA Wednesday Socials after fencing with snacks and drinks for members and their family has become even more popular and will continue. With an abundance of safety, we request that participants be vaccinated.

NOV - 2020 
IFA's Ellen O'Leary is honored with a Lifetime Achievement award by the USA Veteran's Committee at the DEC Zoom NAC

Ellen, who lives in Seattle, has trained with Maitre Yung for over 11 years. She began fencing at age 63 and has gone on to win 14 medals at the Veteran World Championships, including three individual and three team gold medals and many more gold medals at National tournaments.  At 79 years old, O’Leary recently qualified for her 15th Vet World Team. When the 2020 Honorary Veteran World Team was named last month, she serves as a leader within the veteran community and role model to both new and lifelong fencers.

It is her 18th World Championship Medal

 The USA Women's Sabre Team won Bronze
Jane was also recognized by the FIE for 15 Years
of Veteran World Championship Participation.
